The standard for the Texas Clearbody (aka TCB) variety dictates that the body feathers should be devoid of colour, resulting in a predominantly yellow or white appearance, depending on the budgie’s base colour (either just white in blue/white based budgies, or just yellow in yellow/green based budgies).

Female laid four to six eggs and incubates them for 18–23 days, with the young fledging about 30 days after hatching. Female budgerigars can lay eggs without a male partner, but these unfertilized eggs will not hatch. It is recommended to remove those eggs.
