SUN CONURE

TheĀ sunĀ parakeet orĀ sun conureĀ (Aratinga solstitialis) is a medium-sized brightly colored parrot native to northeastern South America. The adult male and female are similar in appearance, with predominantly golden-yellow plumage and orange-flushed underparts and face. It is commonly kept in aviculture.
Description
Sun conures are lively, vocal, and expressive; this is a bird best known for its beauty and its big mouth. The sun conure isĀ approximately 12 inchesĀ long, and is most recognizable by its bright orange and yellow coloring, often mottled here and there with splotches of green.
Talking Ability;
With some patience and effort, however, someĀ sun conure canĀ indeed acquire speaking skills, although perhaps not as seamlessly as various other birds.
Talking sun conureĀ also do not generally develop extensive vocabularies, tending to learn just a handful of words and sentences.
Diet;
It is important to include a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables in your bird’s diet. Some healthy fruits include apples, grapes, bananas and melons. Vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, peas, collard greens, greenbeans and kidney, pinto and black beans also make greatĀ conureĀ food.
