- Power on clipper before placing on nail. Operation Ready.
- Hold the clipper with the sensor facing the paw.
- When light strip shows steady Red, move clipper to nail base to detect quick. Do not clip. The light strip will remain Red.
- Move clipper toward nail tip until light turns Yellow and then Green. It is now safe to clip.
