HEALTH GUARANTEE & LIVE BIRD SHIPPING POLICY

At Feathers N Friends Exotics, the health and well-being of our birds are very important to us. We are committed to providing quality care and helping our customers welcome their new feathered companions with confidence.

1. Live Arrival Guarantee

All birds shipped by Feathers N Friends Exotics are covered by our live arrival guarantee.

If a bird arrives deceased, the buyer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs and any additional documentation we reasonably request to verify the claim.

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for consideration.

2. Veterinary Examination

We recommend having your new bird examined by a qualified avian veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival or pickup.

If you notice signs of illness or a health concern, contact an avian veterinarian promptly. Please notify us of any concerns within this examination period and provide veterinary documentation when requested.

The live arrival guarantee does not cover conditions caused by improper care, stress after delivery, accidents, environmental changes, or other circumstances beyond our control after the bird has been transferred to the buyer.

3. Refunds and Replacements

All live bird sales are final. Please carefully research the species and make sure it is suitable for your home before purchasing.

If a verified live-arrival claim is approved, Feathers N Friends Exotics will determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with the applicable guarantee and law. This may include a replacement bird or a refund for the bird’s purchase price.

Shipping and handling charges are separate from the bird’s purchase price and are not automatically refundable.

4. Shipping and Handling

Birds may be transported through approved airline services or eligible shipping services, depending on the bird, destination, and applicable regulations.

Shipping and handling charges cover applicable transportation, approved carriers or crates, and related handling expenses. These charges will be communicated to the buyer before shipment.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information and being available to receive the bird promptly.

5. Buyer Responsibility

Once a bird has been delivered or picked up, the buyer is responsible for providing appropriate food, clean water, housing, temperature, hygiene, and veterinary care.

Please allow your new bird time to adjust to its new environment and follow appropriate avian-care recommendations.

6. Before Purchasing

Please make sure you understand the bird’s dietary needs, temperament, expected adult size, lifespan, and care requirements before placing an order.

Our team is happy to help answer questions so you can make an informed decision.

Thank you for choosing Feathers N Friends Exotics.

We appreciate your trust in our family-owned business and are grateful for the opportunity to help you care for your feathered friends.
